Aerial Rigging for Rope Rescue – Session 1

Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on application, participants will:

– Recognize the physical forces at play in aerial devices and rope systems
– Understand the capabilities and limitations of various aerial platforms
– Identify best practices for safely rigging aerial ladders
– Explore multiple rigging techniques and their applications
– Learn to select the most effective rigging method for different scenarios

By the end of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions when utilizing aerial ladders in rope rescue operations, ensuring both safety and efficiency in high-angle environments.

This is a one-day class with a split between classroom analysis as well as real world rigging on different types of aerial ladders.”
