MUSAR TF  (Michigan Urban Search And Rescue Training Foundation) has been providing technical rescue training since 1991. Our instructors come from the fire service and have real-life rescue experience.  We have taught rescue programs throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and abroad.

What We Do

We offer Awareness, Operations and Technical level training in four Technical Rescue disiplines. Rope Rescue. Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue and Structural Collapse Rescue. Our programs meet or exceed  NFPA 1670 and NFPA 1006 standards. We are the only rescue training organization in the state that provides programs certified by the MICHIGAN FIREFIHTER TRAINING COUNCIL. EMS CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS  are available for our courses and can be found in the Michigan Community Health "Blue Book".  Your department or agency can get certified training in the technical rescue arena from nationaly recognized trainers.
